Afternoon Program
Enjoy 2 - 3 surf sessions per week, available before school or on weekends, guided buy our ISA certified coaches.
Video analysis helps surfers understand their technique, identify areas for improvement, and track their progress over time. Coaches may highlight specific maneuvers, body positions, and overall performance to enhance learning.
Which may vary between: Yoga, Pool training, Mobility, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Surf skate, Workout stations, Cross Fitness, U- Natural.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art focused on grappling and ground fighting techniques. It develops balance, body awareness, and problem-solving skills. The discipline required in BJJ can also help surfers navigate challenging situations in the water, fostering a strong mind-body connection and resilience.

Kickboxing is a high-intensity martial art that combines elements of boxing and karate. It improves strength, agility, cardiovascular fitness, and coordination. The footwork and striking techniques learned in kickboxing can enhance a surfer’s ability to remain agile and responsive on their board.

Mobility training focuses on enhancing the range of motion in the joints and improving overall body movement quality. Exercises typically involve dynamic stretching and movement patterns that target flexibility and stability, which are vital for fluid surfing movements and preventing injury.

Afternoon Program
Involves swimming and water-based exercises to improve cardiovascular endurance, swimming technique, and breath control. In a pool setting, our kids can also practice specific movements related to surfing (such as paddling and duck dives).

Workout stations typically consist of various exercise setups designed to improve strength, endurance, and agility. Participants rotate through different activities (such as plyometrics, resistance training, and core workouts), targeting muscle groups utilized in surfing.

Surfskating uses a specially designed skateboard that mimics the movements of surfing on land. It builds balance, coordination, and muscle memory that translate directly to surfing. It’s a very efective way to practice turns, pumping, maneuvers and foot placement without having to be in the water.

U - Natural
U-natural is a complete full-body weight training method, designed to improve strength, power, flexibility, mobility, and coordination for everyone.
This method incorporates breathing techniques to improve performance and wellbeing.

Cross Fitness
Cross Fitness is a high-intensity training program that combines elements of weightlifting, cardio, and gymnastics. It builds overall strength, endurance, and agility through varied workouts, enhancing the physical capacity needed for surfing’s dynamic movements and conditions.

Yoga
Enhances flexibility, balance, and core strength. The practice also promotes mental focus and relaxation, helping surfers maintain calm in challenging conditions.
